In the heart of the New Aquitaine region, at the crossroads of the Poitou Charentes, the Haute Vienne and the Dordogne, the Camping des Lacs welcomes you in a green setting bathed by the Lakes of the Haute Charente. Young and old alike can enjoy the water in one of the three swimming pools: indoor heated pool, outdoor pool with its mushroom, paddling pool for the little ones.

As for leisure activities, your children will enjoy the trampolines, the bouncy castle and the playground. Sportsmen will find a volleyball and badminton court, a petanque court, balance straps, or can take advantage of the many hiking and cycling trails.

In the evening, the snack bar will welcome you to eat or simply share a drink with friends or family. You will also find a grocery store to do your shopping.

The Lacs de Haute Charente campsite has a complex of 3 private pools, reserved for campsite guests. It is one of the only campsites in the Charente to have a covered and heated indoor swimming pool. Rackets for table tennis and badminton are available. Ball loan for volleyball.

New mobile home, but very badly designed (never buy a Trigano!)

Excellent camp site in a great location next to Lac Lavaud. In the countryside, but with two eating (and drinking) places with 200 metres.

We loved this campsite. Small but perfectly formed. The lake is beautiful and we enjoyed swimming , kayaking and paddle boarding every day. The loo blocks are small but functional (always travel with your own loo roll!) and the showers always hot. Our pitch (125) was a great size for a family tent, gazebo,...

Friendly and helpful staff.
Large pitches with water and electricity to every pitch. The pitches were quite private due to the hedges between them.
Rarely had to queue for the clean showers and toilets, washing up area.
Direct access to the play park, beach and massive lake.

We have traveled extensively in France and this is definitely one of the best sites we have ever stayed on. Massive pitches, spotlessly clean toilets, friendly welcome. Great pool area. Beautiful walks in the area and extremely dog friendly. We only had a weekend but can’t wait to visit again.

Lots of activities for all ages & brilliant amenities - snack bar/entertainment etc. pool was very basic but not a problem because the lake was so good! However beds were very hard & uncomfortable in our mobile home & there were no fans available which...
