    About Eco Resort Grevelingenstrand

    Now and then, we find a real gem. Car-free Eco Resort Grevelingenstrand is such a gem! Hidden in the 9 hectare nature reserve De Kabbelaarsbank, you'll find 30 eco cottages (tiny houses). The resort is located near the Brouwersdam, 12 km from the centre of seaside resort Ouddorp, on the border between South Holland and Zeeland. At the western part of Eco Resort Grevelingenstrand, you'll find the nice North Sea beach. On the other side, you'll find the Grevelingenmeer. This is the largest, cleanest and most clear salt water lake of Western Europe. In Eco Resort Grevelingenstrand, everything revolves around nature, peace and space. The ultimate place to relax and enjoy your well-deserved holiday. A place where nature is still simply nature. The resort itself offers a reception, bike rental and bread service, no facilities. You'll be one with nature and the bonus is a spectacular view from your terrace. Don't be surprised if you also see seals. The area offers various options for excursions. For young and old, for nature, culture or water sports enthusiasts. The Kabbelaarsbank is one of the Netherlands' most beautiful nature reserves. An ideal place to relax and enjoy a long walk. Cities like Zierikzee (20 km), Brielle (36 km), Middelburg (43 km), Rotterdam (65 km) and Den Haag (74 km) can be reached easily from Eco Resort Grevelingenstrand. Each with its own character, but all with a rich offer in culture, restaurants, outdoor cafes and shopping possibilities. The famous seaside resorts Renesse (9.5 km) and Burgh-Haamstede (15 km) can be reached easily. Discover everything about the mussel industry in Vrouwenpolder. You can learn all the ins and outs in the mussel farm of Neeltje Jans. You can enjoy many water sports at the nearby North Sea beach, but also the Grevelingenmeer. Here you can go (kite) surfing, swimming, snorkelling or one of the many other water sports possibilities. Relaxing or just enjoying fresh air on the beach is also part of the possibilities. In the meantime, you can enjoy a bite and/or drink in one of the beach pavilions at the North Sea beach. Eco Resort Grevelingenstrand is a car-free resort. You'll park your car at the central car park. Of course there are wagons to transport your luggage and groceries from and to your cottage. You can reach this resort by public transport as well.
