About EuroParcs Resort Markermeer

Located on the Dutch waters of North Holland you will find a beautiful resort where you will have a wonderful holiday. Where once the whispering ships passed, is now the ideal holiday destination where West Frisian culture still flows through its blood.

At EuroParcs Resort Markermeer you do nothing but enjoy a natural and cultural environment. The cottages are comfortable and modern, so you will not fall short. Enjoy your breakfast in the morning while overlooking the Markermeer. In spring you can paddle in the lake and, if the sun allows it, it is even possible to swim here. Those who love fishing are also enjoying themselves at this park. Throw out the rod and enjoy the peace around you. For the small vacationers, there are several outdoor play areas with climbing equipment.

During the day you can go for a quick snack at the snack bar of the park. If you want a nice meal, then we advise you to visit the center of Bovenkarspel. Here you will find several cozy cafés and restaurants where you can enjoy a pleasant evening. Of course, you can also choose to get some groceries at the local supermarket and enjoy a homemade meal from your terrace right by the water.

Surroundings EuroParcs Resort Markermeer
For the nature lover, it feels like coming home. The wooded landscape invites for long hiking and cycling tours. Also, the culture is something you can see very clearly here. Not far from the park you will find old West-Frisian pictures such as Enkhuizen (3 km) and Medemblik (18 km). Get in the car (or on the bike) and visit the Zuiderzeemuseum in Enkhuizen. You can also choose to rent a boat here and go out on the water (a day's sailing works wonders!). Take the traditional steam train from Enkhuizen to Medemblik and visit the Dutch Steam Engine. Continue your route to De Oude Bakkerij and discover the art of this old craft. Whoever is lucky will go home with a piece of speculaas. To finish the day, visit Radboud Castle. If you have some time left, you can take the steam train to Hoorn. You can also save this city for the next day!

In de voorjaarsvakantie hebben we e geen voordelen ervaren

Vanaf 5:15u raasde het verkeer voorbij tot 19:30u over de provinciale weg, men had hier nooit een park moeten aanleggen. Daarbij stond het park bij de presentatie op een andere plek gesitueerd waardoor je hier geen erg in had. Dit is misleidend. Het internet werkte ook niet naar behoren.

De provinciale weg op nog geen 25 m afstand van het huisje, heel drukke weg.

Mooie chalets. Ligging aan het water. Rustig.

Wat modderig. Geen horeca / cafetaria open (januari).

Rustig. Schoon. Complete inrichting.

Het ontbreken van een kast in de slaapkamer.
De verwarming gaat 's nachts naar 15 graden. Dit was met het weer tijdens ons verblijf erg koud.

De prachtige ligging. Leuke omgeving

Klein. Geen faciliteiten

Modern ingericht, goede bedden en de super ligging direct aan het water.

Waar zijn de kasten???? 4 pers huisje met op 1 kamer 2 kleine klep( keuken) kastjes. Wij waren met 2 en konden gelukkig op de 2 lege bedden onze kleren kwijt. Maar hoe doe je dit met 4 pers en evt spullen voor 14 dagen!! Het énige, maar wél het grootste negatieve punt.

Aanwezigheid / aanspreekpunt receptie, alleen bij aankomst en vertrek.

Reuk van de riolering bij veel wind.
Afdichting van hoeken en kozijn dubbele deur minimaal.
Er kwam veel wind naar binnen.
Kitranden douche onder de maat, schimmelvorming.
Tevens geen douchegordijn, erg irritant door hele douche nat.
Douchebak kon naar beneden bij het afvoerputje

Netjes schoon ,ruime chalets met moderne uitstraling.Mooi aan het water, prima bereikbaarheid, vriendelijk personeel.
Prima prijs voor kwaliteit verhouding. In het algemeen een prettige ervaring ondanks het slechte weer.

Aanrecht verkeerde plaats geplaatst voor het afwassen.

HolidayParkSpecials charges no fees, however, it may be that the park charges an additional fee (depending on the type of change). If the park does charge change fees, the costs will always be discussed with you.

Any booking made can be cancelled using a link provided in the confirmation email. If you no longer have the confirmation email, please contact our Service Desk by calling +31 23-3024901 (10 cents p/m).

Please note: in most cases, the holiday park will charge a cancellation fee, and the amount of this fee will depend on how late you cancel the booking.
