About Le Vallon du Roy

Arrived in the center of Sanary, at the quay along the harbor, we are captivated by the charm and picturesque of this privileged place. Sanary offers numerous possibilities of walks: along the masts of sailing boats bordering a garden, on the island of Embiez, around the shipyard at the foot of the green hill with a charming chapel at the top, reached by the rise of the Oratoire, from where you can see the whole bay of Sanary. Sanary is a lively resort throughout the year. Residents of Sanary as well as visitors make walks on the quay and on the coast and enjoy the sun. The stores are open throughout the year. Sanary is also notable for its climate: mild in winter, light breeze in summer, 300 days of sunshine a year, protected by a micro climate, there is very little rain. Your residence is located in the heart of a pine forest, 1 km from Bandol, 4 km from Sanary, 600 m from the Lido beach which you can reach via a private, shaded footpath. Facilities of the resort: a free parking place (1 place per apartment), an outdoor swimming pool (open from mid-May to the end of September), a playground for children, sports field and jeu de boules.

Your home is an excellent starting point to explore the area. Come and discover the beautiful hinterland, covered with vineyards, olive groves, connected by roads and paths where it is pleasant to walk. The production of fresh vegetables, fruit and flowers, as well as wine production, are important sectors in this part of the world. The seaside resort of Bandol is only 1 km from your property, with its many sandy beaches, calanques and natural creeks with gorges between the hills covered by pine trees, willows and exotic trees. Bandol welcomes more than 1500 boats of various sizes in its marina: yachts, big sailboats, tuna boats, trawlers, etc. Bandol is present worldwide at gourmet tables thanks to the famous Ollioules wines. 5 km inland, is close to the beautiful beaches of the Provencal coast: Bandol, Six-Fours, Sanary is only 7 km from Toulon. The medieval village has kept its charm thanks to the restored buildings, the small streets with fortified gates and the flowery balconies. Ollioules is also an important archaeological site. The beautiful resort Six-Fours invites you to discover the southern way of life, between forest and sea, along the 18 km long coastline where golden sandy beaches and hidden creeks alternate, harbors and preserved forests. Janas's forest enchants its visitors with its preserved Mediterranean essences in this 1,000-hectare park, pines, oaks, strawberry trees, olive trees, sunflowers and broom. The large network of trails offers the possibility for various sports, such as mountain biking, cycling and horse riding. The coastal path leads you to the charming port of Brusc, where you can take a boat to the island of Embiez, known as a boat center Exotic garden - Zoo of Sanary Bandol: It shows a harmonious mix of "Fauna and Flora". The exotic Garden-Zoo of Sanary-Bandol is open every day except on Sunday mornings in winter. The visitor can discover the exotic world of animals, thanks to the layout that consists of a mix of parks, greenhouses and rockeries (closed between 12.00 and 14.00).
