Info about Coronavirus and your stay

Last updated: 1 Aug 2021

These are strange times we find ourselves in. Unfortunately, this also means providing you with an enjoyable stay will not be possible in the upcoming weeks. Naturally, we always put the safety and well-being of our guests and employees first, under all circumstances.

Below, we have answered the most frequently asked questions about the outbreak’s impact on your stay.

Changes to Bookings and Cancellations

Can I change a booking I made?

Ideally, we would prefer that you change your booking to a new arrival date instead of cancelling it. Why, you might ask. Because in this way you can contribute to the preservation of the travel industry and the continuation of HolidayParkSpecials.

If you would like to change your booking, we advice you to contact our customer service, so that we can contact the holiday park to discuss whether you can change the booking to a new arrival date. Please note: whether you can change a booking depends on the change policy of the holiday park and their final decision regarding this matter.

Can I change my booking to an unknown date?

No, unfortunately this is not possible. A new date must be set when changing a booking.

Can I cancel a booking I made?

Any booking made within the cancellation conditions can be easily cancelled using a link provided in the confirmation email. Please take the following steps:

  1. Open your confirmation email and scroll down to the paragraph “Do you want to cancel your booking?”
  2. Click on the link and confirm that you want to cancel your booking
  3. Tip: always check the cancellation conditions of the accommodation provider to see if the cancellation of your booking is free of charge or non-refundable

Please note that the booking is not cancelled until you have completed these steps and received a cancellation confirmation email.

If the cancellation conditions no longer apply, it is always up to the holiday park whether you can still cancel your booking. We advice you to contact HolidayParkSpecials, so that we can contact the holiday park to ask the holiday park about their policy in this regard.

For more information about a taken cancellation insurance we refer you to Allianz.

Is it Safe to Travel to a Holiday Park or should I change my Travel Plans?

Unfortunately, we cannot make that decision for you. At HolidayParkSpecials we keep a close eye on the latest information and advice on the risk from Coronavirus from The Department of Health & Social Care (DHSC) and Public Health England (PHE). The up-to-date information about the situation and guidance for the public on the risk from Coronavirus can be found on the government’s website.
