The recreational lake is a great place to enjoy the water. There is a large swimming pond and a sandy beach. If you would like to practice a water sport, you can. Waterskiing, wakeboarding and splashing are among the possibilities. First you can take instruction lessons and see how to do it at water-ski shows. In the fishpond, you might even catch an eel! Further facilities on the park include petanque and bicycles. You can hire an (electric) bicycle or go-cart at the park and request cycling and walking routes at the reception.

The town of Jabbeke is home to the Provincial Museum Constant Permeke, the former home and studio of the Flemish expressionist of the same name. Go take a look inside! Equally worth seeing is the neo-Gothic Sint-Blasiuskerk, where various embellishments have been carried out over the centuries. The Venice of the North as Bruges is also called, is also well worth a visit. Stroll through the cosy streets, visit a beer brewery and take a cruise through the canals.
