In cosy North Brabant, surrounded by nature, you will find Roompot Bungalowpark De Heihorsten. Whether you love nature, culture, tradition or modernity, it all comes together at Bungalowpark De Heihorsten.... Enjoy the best of town and country in this spacious park.
Facilities at De Heihorsten
Enjoy the peace and nature in the small park De Heihorsten. The luxurious, detached bungalows for 4 to 12 people are brand new and fully equipped. Each thatched villa has a large garden with terrace and comfortable garden furniture where you can have breakfast or relax at the end of the day. Swim in the indoor pool, kick a ball around on the football pitch and let the children run around in the playground. The car can stay where it is! From your bungalow, you can walk straight into the nature reserves of the Strabrechtse or Somerense Heide, where heathland, forest and moor alternate. Beautiful at any time of year! The park is also one of the few holiday parks in the Netherlands to have its own solar field for generating energy.
Restaurant Roompot De Heihorsten
The nearby village of Someren is a good place to grab a bite to eat and a drink. Directly opposite the park is Boscafé De Soete Inval, where our guests can enjoy a cup of coffee, lunch or dinner from morning to night.
Surroundings of De Heihorsten
The surroundings of De Heihorsten offer countless activities for young and old. Right next to the park you will find an adventurous mini golf course with catering facilities, a fitness trail through the forest and a beautiful 27-hole golf course. You can make the most beautiful trips through the Brabant countryside by bike. Go birdwatching, meet the Scottish Highlanders or visit De Groote Peel National Park. There is also an extensive network of MTB routes for mountain bikers, or you can spend a day canoeing on the Dommel.
Fancy a city break or a day trip? De Heihorsten is the ideal base for eating Limburg flan in Weert, shopping in Roermond or visiting the design city of Eindhoven. Or take the children to the prehistoric village, the Toverland theme park or the Klok en Peel museum, which has been voted the best day trip destination in Brabant by the ANWB several times.
And since it's the holiday season... you should definitely enjoy the Burgundian hospitality in the cosy villages around the park, such as Someren and Heeze, with their wide range of restaurants, terraces and (food) pubs. In short, you won't be bored for a moment at De Heihorsten holiday park. Read more
