Ideally situated 3km from the beaches in the south of Spain in the Alicante region, the campsite enjoys an exceptional location under the Mediterranean sun. There's a heated indoor pool, an outdoor pool for adults and one for children, a Turkish bath, a bubble bath and a sauna.
During the school summer holidays, family entertainment is available during the day and evening. The Topi-club offers fun activities for younger children.
There's no need to leave the campsite, as there's a snack bar, restaurant, grocery shop and even a takeaway. For the more sporty, there's a paddleball court, a tennis court, mini-golf...

Wow, what a weird experience, we booked a 2 night break to explore towns on the coast near Benidorm, Albir, Altea, Calpe and Moreira.
We arrived at the site 12.30 pm.
I called in to reception to be told there was a power cut affecting Spain, France and Portugal, the entire country’s electric supply... was down.
In addition, communication was down too.
most shops and restaurants in the area had to close, it was chaos.
After we had checked in, it became evident that this situation would not change quickly, the toilets wouldn’t flush showers didn’t work and we had no electricity or communication.
Nothing worked, we had intended eating out and had not brought food.
Thankfully we managed to get a sandwich from the bar, all they could make and drinks were being served as long as you could pay cash.
We bought a few bits from the shop.
We were going to drive home, up the coast to Torrevieja, however was advised against it as traffic lights on the roads were all down too.
We stayed around, had a beer or 2 in the sun, sat outside the camper.
It was a pleasant evening, all be it, it wasn’t what we had planned.
Had everything, been working, this would have been a fantastic base, a really class camp site, clean toilet and shower area, fantastic, pool and bar and reception areas.
Next morning we had no electricity as no one visited to hook us up, which has to be done on this site, the toilets and showers were still not working, so we cut our losses and drove home.
If I have an issue, there is a member of staff at reception, I found to be rude, right from his first words regards the power cuts , his general attitude at our first meeting and subsequent meetings was very poor.
Other than that the other staff were friendly and professional.
I would go back here and try to do the trip we arranged and hope for better circumstances which were all outside the camp sites control.
Site personal physically assaulted an old person for nothing, manager stood by that decision.by saying sorry

Payed for a Charity doo, come back from toilets for all been ejected because the park owner 【we didnt know who she was]was breaking rules, suddenly jumped asking all to drink up, then the waiter started ripping drinks out of people's hands and physical abused slapping a 80yr disabled person and said... get out. Absolutely out of order and even site manager had to stand with the owner. I was told by that same barman you've done nothing I will get you another drink because I've stuck my figures in yours, I had to decline but 4 mins later the manager is saying get off the site. If that is site policy then I would say think very hard about coming to a site miles away from benidorm when apartments compete on price far better service. Think hard !

Brilliant upgrades and Carl is a star

3rd year in row we’ve visited for our summer holiday. The new pool, bar and stage arrangements are fab with some great nighttime entertainment on; so much better than previous years.
Carl the entertainment manager is the best addition, high energy, funny, makes a real effort and works tirelessly.
Brilliant... just brilliant

3rd time staying Almafra, each time it has been fabulous but this year the entertainment has excelled.
The new outdoor stage and bar area is brilliant, Carl the entertainments guy was amazing, enthusiastic, catered for all. The rest of the team were great but Carl had two days off and we all commented... how much we missed him!
We made an effort to go to the outdoor area most evenings after visiting surrounding areas.
Best yet! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hope things remain the same for our trip again next year!

We have been to Camping Almafra many times, but this year was definitely the best. The changes made to the entertainment were definitely needed, a brilliant improvement. All staff were fab, but Carlitos made our holiday! He was amazing!!!
