Camping Pianacce is located in Castagneto Carducci, a few kilometres from the Etruscan Sea. You will find an aquatic area with a water playground that will delight the little ones.

Read the full review - the place is great, close to good places, nice people and spectacular view. However, the place is also worn down and the pool area (and that all there is to do at the camp site) is way too small for the amount of people on site.
Strongly recommend going to the beach and staying... there if you can.
I’m also not too fond of loud techno music by the pool, but that was freely provided by the staff and animation team - so if that’s your thing - it’s for sure your place to stay…..

As with most eurocamps, a car is needed. Not much around at all.
ACCOMODATION: Very bog standard 'blackpool' feel caravan. Relatively clean but not hotel standard clean. Very hilly. Nice surroundings though.
FOOD: Small shop selling essentials on site. Restaurant on site is really nice (book ahead... though as gets quite booked up). Pretty cheap and food comes quick. Waiters very friendly. Good entertainment across the path for children which was a bonus! They'd go off after their food and we'd be childfree for the remainder of the meal overlooking the beautiful sunset!
POOL: The pool area is a good size. 3 pools, lots of sunbeds. People do reserve though. Hats MUST be worn in the pool. These are sold on site. Good snacks around the pool but a little pricey.
ENTERTAINMENT: Kids entertainment good but very Italian and German. Not many English tourists at all. The guy who ran most of the entertainment was brilliant- doing water aerobics, water polo etc.
Beach is about 20 min drive away. Really nice but sunbeds very pricey at €30 for 2, and again, very Italian! No English food menus in any restaurant!
Wouldn't come again, but was an enjoyable and cheap holiday.

A wonderful view with a fun pool and good pizza and ice cream. We were in a mobile home with effective air condition. The terasse were shady and we spend every meal and evening there. The kids loved the pool area and the area seemed very safe for them to run around.
Bedbugs, mice and no service

No service after complaining about bedbugs and mice. Left couple of days earlier, had to e-mail the manager to complain, after 5 e-mails and 2 Facebook messages still no respond. It’s a shame cause it’s a Nice campsite, kids enjoyed the pool and entertainment. But never coming back here, this was... not a glamping experience. We had the xxl air Spa number 80, don’t sleep in that tent it has bedbugs.

Fabulous family summer holiday

Wonderful family summer holiday. Great site with lovely pools for all ages. The splash pool looked new with an awesome slide. Even in the peak of the summer never a problem to get a sun bed. Helpful that the pool was gated so people couldn’t put out towels before it opened at 10. The site was very... well maintained and the kids entrainment was full of energy. My son took park in the football sessions which ran most days. Two amazing live shows, one with fire and the other with bubbles.
The location was brilliant. We didn’t use the beach bus as we had our own transport. The local beach was nice but the restaurants were expensive we preferred san Vincenzo which had lovely soft sand and very shallow seas great for kids to play in safely.
The local theme park at Cavallino Matto was awesome with lots of new rides and no queues. Well worth the money.
I would suggest booking directly or with Eurocamp, our experience with select camp wasn’t great.
