In French Normandy, halfway between the Côte Fleurie and Mont-St-Michel, you will find Port-en-Bessin-Huppain. A lively fishing port located near one of Normandy's most famous D-Day beaches. Admire these... surroundings during your stay at holiday park Le Green Beach.
Facilities Pierre & Vacances Le Green Beach
The holiday park is situated on a beautiful plot of no less than 7 hectares. The park is surrounded by a large golf course where you can play golf in peace and quiet. If you only want to watch, you can do so from your own terrace or balcony. There is also a heated indoor and outdoor swimming pool. The outdoor pool is only open from May to September. During your stay, you also have access to the sauna in the indoor pool and several sports fields, such as a volleyball court. But the best thing about the location of this holiday park is of course its location so close to the coast. The large beach of Omaha Beach is only 9 km away from the holiday park.
Children's facilities Pierre & Vacances Le Green Beach
Besides having plenty of water fun in the sea and building sandcastles on the beach, the holiday park has a number of other facilities for children. Children can swim in the outdoor pool with paddling pool or play in the playground. There is also a children's corner with various toys at reception where children can play.
Pierre & Vacances Le Green Beach restaurants
For breakfast, you can choose to go to the bakery yourself in the mornings or go for the more luxurious option and have the sandwiches delivered to your door. You can place your order the night before at reception. For dinner, you will find several cosy restaurants in the harbour near the holiday park. Here you can choose dishes from different cuisines. Enjoy the most delicious meals while enjoying a real French glass of wine.
Surroundings Pierre & Vacances Le Green Beach
Lively Port-en-Bessin-Huppain is located by the sea and has a beautiful small harbour. You can enjoy dinner here and then take a long evening stroll along the quay. The view here is magnificent! The region and location near the D-day beaches is known for its rich history during World War II. For example, visit the American cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer (9km) or visit the Memorial Museum in Arromanches (14km). The casemates in Lonques-sur-Mer (9km) are also not to be missed. For an outing with the children, I recommend a visit to amusement park Festyland (40km). Read more
