As a guest, you can also use the multi-purpose sports pitch at the nearby EuroParcs De Zanding, which is ideal for football, basketball, handball or hockey.

The park features a heated outdoor swimming pool with a separate paddling pool for toddlers and young children. Next to the pool is a sunbathing area where you can relax and enjoy the sunshine on warm days.
You can enjoy even more water fun at EuroParcs De Zanding, just across the way. There, you can relax by the large natural lake with its sandy beach, whilst the children play on the playground equipment by the water. What’s more, you can try your hand at stand-up paddleboarding and other water sports. The Veluwe is one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands and perfect for walks, cycle rides and spotting wildlife. In the Planken Wambuis nature reserve, with a bit of luck, you might spot red deer, wild boar and even the ‘Veluwe’s Big Five’. You’ll experience a truly special moment in nature at the Posbank, where, from a height of 90 metres, you can look out over heathland, forests and even as far as Germany.
For fun family days out, Burgers’ Zoo in Arnhem – with its rainforest, desert and ocean world – and Ouwehands Zoo in Rhenen, home to the giant pandas in Pandasia, come highly recommended. The Museonder in De Hoge Veluwe National Park – the world’s first underground museum – is also a unique experience.
