Perfect for a family reunion

We are a large family and booked a 12-person cottage in order to have enough space for everyone. It was perfect. Two downstairs rooms were wheelchair accessible and there were four bedrooms upstairs - enough for everyone. The cottage was well equipped with space to sit and eat inside or a wonderful... large patio where we could sit in the sun. The weather was so good that we always ate outside - breakfast, lunch and dinner - apart from one meal. The central facilities were also good if you want to use them. The forest walks were amazing and so big we got lost on one walk. Wonderful.

Great property we never experience before in the USA. The location in the forest is perfect to be close to nature. Everyone was very helpful to make our stay more enjoyable. The facility offers petting zoo, indoor pool, restaurants and cafe.

We've been to this park for 5 years in a row in the last weekend of November, with our 4-8 year old son. We've enjoyed ourselves each time. A great 'brasserie' (lunchroom) , with great food and a friendly staff. They organise great activities for the kids and the entertainment team is great with kids.... Our son wanted to come back each year for the indoor playground. The cabins where in great shape and clean. Although sometimes you have to walk a long while, when your cabin is in the back of the park. The shop on the park is great.

Well as my wife is half Dutch and has family in Holland we go every year for a family Holiday. We have stayed at Landal Coldenhove for the last 10 year however this last stay in August 2019 will be our last. The bungalow we stayed in was dated and in a very poor condition and location, I expected more... after paying extra for a good location. We got moved on day 7 of our 11 day holiday but this was to late as our annual Dutch Holiday had been ruined. I found the staff very unwilling to help and told me that as I was a regular visitor they did nothing for loyal customers. I found this very strange and sadly will not be returning and am looking for other arrangements for this year.

We had stayed at another Landal resort a few years ago and had really enjoyed the outdoor feel to the place so decided to try this one for a week in wet damp January. This was more rural with the majority of the accommodations in the woods, accessed with a good road network. The chalet we were allocated... was actually a disabled one which wasn't a problem and it was nice and warm and well equipped. A little point, it sleeps four and we were left one toilet roll for the whole week which seemed a little sparse really. The only other issue was the lighting to the door from the car was very inadequate in the dark. We had to resort to using our phone lights and thought this wasn't really good enough, especially as it was a chalet that catered for the disabled??
Check in and out was good with very helpful staff, grounds were kept well and the restaurants onsite were good too. Lots of things to do for children and the rain stayed away for most of the stay. Really enjoyed ourselves
