The holiday village Le Bochetay is peacefully situated in the beautiful hilly region of L'Heure, in the Belgian province of Namur. It is an ideal starting point for walking and cycling and for visiting towns such as Durbuy and Marche-en-Famenne.

Lovers of peace and quiet will also be delighted by the privacy and natural surroundings of the wooden bungalows in this pretty holiday village. Bungalowpark Le Bochetay is the perfect place to unwind in nature.

You can take a trip to Durbuy or the idyllic town of Marche-en-Famenne. The famous Han-sur-Lesse caves are also well worth a visit. You can also visit the stalactite caves of Rochefort and Hotton or the Chevetogne nature park. The River Ourthe offers a variety of water sports such as swimming, fishing and canoeing. You can also go mountain biking, kayaking, horse riding or play golf.

If you want to look for peace and quiet this is an ideal park, with the car you can also drive to many beautiful places in the Ardennes from there.

Points of improvement:
For us personally few facilities for the children but ours did not bother.

Positive experience:
Beautifully located and quiet park. Nice and new cottage which is very nice modern and cosy. The cottage has a nice bathroom, good beds, a nice sitting sofa and chairs, a TV with digital channels, dishwasher and all the necessary cutlery and crockery. There is also a nice outdoor seating area. Also very super that there is a restaurant. The decor is dated and authentic but the staff are super friendly and the food is delicious!

Areas for improvement:
No real downsides, but more things to consider. There are no towels and kitchen towels provided. Bring your own urgently like toilet paper, kitchen roll, dish towel, dish brush, dishwasher cubes and washing-up liquid. Also, outside the cottages and restaurants, there are no amenities at the park. What I only found a little disappointing is that there are no real hiking trails. We were there with our dog and I really had to search for passable paths. Eventually, I found one right next to the park entrance. That's a long nice forest path along a flowing stream. But beyond that, there isn't really anything.
