Here you will find everything you need for a well-deserved and relaxing holiday in the sun.

The holiday houses and flats really do have wonderful views. You partly overlook the beach and the undulating sea, and partly the beautiful French countryside. There is a range of leisure activities you can participate in or make use of during your holiday. For example, there is an outdoor swimming pool open during the summer months (May to September) and you can sunbathe on the accompanying terrace. In addition, you can completely unwind in the park's wellness area. Enjoy the sauna or the hammam. There is also an indoor pool for which the minimum age is 16. If you want to expend some energy, you can play tennis or golf. Of course, you can also just go for a walk in the breathtaking surroundings.

Families with a baby or small children can use the paddling pool that is open in summer. There is also a large playground for them to play in. But really, nothing is more fun than building sandcastles on the beach.

The holiday park is located in the Houlgate hills between Cabourg (5km) and Deauville (20km) in green surroundings. Enjoy the tranquillity of the Floral Coast of Normandy. Visit the historical heritage of the town of Dives-sur-Mer and discover its 11th-century church. Fancy a beach day? Then head to the sandy beaches of Plage du Temple or Plage de Cabourg. Going a little further west will take you to the beaches where the Allies landed in Normandy in '44. Today, you can mostly enjoy the sun there. The Festyland leisure park (44km) is ideal if you want a day out with the family and children aged between 6 and 14.

Positive experience:
It is a quiet park high on the mountain. The outdoor pool is lovely and warm and the Spa, although a bit older, is lovely to stay in but soon full. The friendliness of the staff was great. On arrival, we were met by the manager and the info was clear and substantive after which we were even convinced that our preconception about France was wrong! The other colleagues were super friendly and the sandwich service was very convenient. However, the shop is a bit further away! In short; lovely location to unwind. It's not down to the location and the staff!

Points for improvement:
The reservation comes in French. Google translate helps. The cottages are incredibly small and you miss a shop and a bar on the complex. The park is located on a mountain, which is spicy by bike. Furthermore, we noticed that the wood is quite rotten. The cottages themselves are outdated and interior is not comfortable but it is doable for a week. For the disabled, a shopping service would be a godsend.

Positive experience:
It is very nicely situated near the lovely town of Houlgate and beach. It is very spacious so you experience a lot of privacy. A very nice view from the terrace. Nice that there is a bread service so you can pick up fresh bread from reception every day. We loved the swimming pool both inside and outside and nice that it is somewhat heated. Also the spa with sauna and hammam were lovely.
Cottage is well equipped ( dishwasher, two showers and toilets etc.

Points of improvement:
Fact that there is no cleaning service during the stay. The property does not have a hoover and overall maintenance could be done better. Also, you did not get clean towels for 1 week and we just picked them up ourselves each time at the washing machine. You also do not get new toilet rolls and you have to buy them yourself. In terms of price, you should expect this service for a week's stay.

Unfortunately, I heard mice running across the roof every night. I did inform reception and someone came by the same day but he told me that they have to hire a special company for this. He admitted that it could be because they walk up through the drainpipe. Slept badly because of it.
