Lots of potential!

The weather was unpredictable and very heavy rain was experienced during our six days here. It meant going to the beach was for viewing and walking only. It would have been lovely to swim and sunbathe! We were allocated a pitch with no one else nearby. Nobody else arrived close to us during our period... there. It would have been more helpful to allow us to choose where there was more sunlight as opposed to being under the trees which caused the rain to drip heavily onto us. The chemical disposal point was never cleaned during our time there. There was dried up evidence from previous users which was a horrible distraction. Luckily we were self-sufficient with showers and toilets as there were none close to us. We used the bar and restaurant and enjoyed the meals we had which were reasonably priced. My wife used the pool but I did due to the poor weather. The facilities all around were good and with better weather would have made more of our time. The staff were very courteous and friendly. It is the sort of site we would return to as the points I have made are minor in the scheme of things and are easily resolved.

It was a very nice camping. A good and beautiful location, not far from Ocean; The campingplace is large. Shadow under the trees; a nice swimmingpool. There is also privacy and rest. A good and respectable people.

About 6 hours from Cherbourg, huge pitches, really helpful staff. Pool was a godsend due to the heat. Had a great 2 weeks and would happily go again. Its 15 to 20 minutes from the coast, but really easy to get to

This campsite is super safe, very orderly and peopled largely by Dutch families. Pitches are a good size -some are huge - and the pool is lots of fun. The big slide is quite slow and the smaller ones super fast - the pool generally full of children and the odd teen. Their is a lac just an easy ten... min cycle away although the track around the lake is bigger and more challenging than the start indicates!
Donkey rides at the auberge just before the lac at park and pedalo and canoes on the lac.
My children weren’t bothered about the morning activities but they looked great for younger kids and all the staff speak great English too.
The two big shower blocks are a delight but the unruly nesting of the cute swallows meant one of the smaller ones was rather too liable to be spotted with swallow Poo. I do wonder whether some nesting structures could be built to allow the swallows some options other than the toilet block.
This is a great safe site for family camping and the area has plenty of cycle tracks although peddling on the local roads felt very safe too.
We visited Tiffauges castle which was an hour away and it cost a mere 24euros for a family of five. It had thrilling spectacles with some great horse riding. Don’t think there was an English translation available but if your French is rusty the action will keep you engaged.
There are lots of local beeches a twenty min drive away - the grand Plage wins out for the fab churros and expanse of sand.

This is a very good campsite with massive pitches. The pool area is good and works well for the size of the site.
The campsite is near a lake that is good for kayaking or walking around. The site is also very close to the coast so it is easy for trips to the seaside.
We had a really good week here and... would recommend it over the RCN in the Dordogne. The site feels really family orientated and we could have easily stayed another week.
