Sahara Stay is a beautiful holiday park that feels like an oasis of peace and relaxation. Located directly on the dunes and in the immediate vicinity of the cleanest beach in the Netherlands, Vlugtenburg Strand, a break awaits you here that perfectly combines sun, sea and feel-good moments.
Sahara Stay facilities
The special thing about Sahara Stay is the all-round experience that awaits you here. You don't just book accommodation - you also get a whole package of activities and experiences. Surf lessons at the Dutch Surf Academy will get you on the board and in the sea, while live music on selected evenings provides atmospheric entertainment. Best of all, dogs are also very welcome at Sahara Stay - so your four-legged friend doesn't have to stay at home.
Facilities for children - Sahara Stay
Just a 2-minute walk away is Speelcafé Zoet - the kids' club at our partner park Strandpark Vlugtenburg. Every Wednesday and Saturday, the entertainment team ensures a good time. Even on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the holidays! There is also a large water playground waiting for you in the neighbouring Strandpark Vlugtenburg.
Sahara Stay restaurants
You are also well catered for here in culinary terms. Close to the park, the cosy Eetcafé Zout invites you to enjoy a relaxed meal - with a varied menu that is guaranteed to have something for every taste. Those who prefer to eat with their feet in the sand can visit the De Pit beach pavilion, which is just a short walk away and boasts sea views.

Shady paths meander through the forest and offer a pleasant opportunity to explore the rich flora and fauna of the area. In addition to the forest, the park also borders a glistening lake that invites you to relax and enjoy nature. Here, visitors can take a boat trip, go fishing or simply enjoy the beautiful view of the clear water and the surrounding landscape. The lake is also a favourite spot for water sports such as kayaking and fishing. You can also take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool or have fun in the nearby water park.
