Attractie- & Vakantiepark Slagharen overnight stay

When staying overnight in Slagharen, you have the choice between various themed accommodation - from rustic cowboy lodges to the unique Slagharen Wigwam, a comfortable tent with a real Western atmosphere. Or you can book accommodation in Slagharen for the whole family with your own terrace. Particularly practical: most of the accommodation in Slagharen is located right next to the park, so you can start your next adventure first thing in the morning. Perfect for a short holiday at Slagharen theme park!

Restaurant Attractie- & Vakantiepark Slagharen

Slagharen Park also has plenty of culinary options. Several restaurants, snack bars and cafés invite you to feast. Whether it's burgers, pizza, pasta or pancakes - you're sure to find what you're looking for here. For the sweet tooth, there's ice cream and donuts on every corner. And if you prefer to eat in your accommodation, you can prepare a meal in the comfort of your accommodation and enjoy a relaxed evening.

Surroundings Attractie- & Vakantiepark Slagharen

Slagharen in the Netherlands also offers plenty to discover outside the park. In the Overijssel region, wide fields, charming villages and beautiful cycling and hiking trails await you. You can take a day trip to Emmen Zoo or explore the historic centre of Zwolle. The proximity to the German-Dutch border also makes Slagharen in Holland an attractive destination for a weekend trip.

Pets

Pets are always on request. You must indicate this when booking, the park will consider your request. One pet is allowed in the Raccoon Lodge and the Cowboy Cottage. The other accommodations are pet-free.

Entry to amusement park and Aqua Mexicana

For guests staying at the holiday park, admission to Slagharen amusement park and Aqua Mexicana water park is included. Limited availability applies to Aqua Mexicana. The amusement park closes at 5pm every day, except from 1 July to 27 August when the amusement park closes at 6pm. Aqua Mexicana is open from 12 noon to 8pm during midweek. On weekends and holidays, Aqua Mexicana is open from 10am - 8pm, except Sundays outside holiday periods, when Aqua Mexicana is open until 5pm. Additional persons surcharge

The accommodation types Wigwam Deluxe, Hacienda and Cowboy Cottage are for a maximum of 2 adults and 4 children. If you book here with a 3rd adult, the park will charge an extra fee. This is €55 for a weekend or midweek and €79 for a week. When a baby is booked in addition to the maximum number of persons allowed, this is always on request and when possible, the extra charge will also apply.

Reservations with multiple accommodations are not guaranteed until you receive an invoice from the park.

Tennis court

The tennis court currently out of use. This is because of the construction work taking place there with the construction of Rancho Grande. We expect the tennis court to be operational again when the construction work is finished.

Opening hours in autumn & winter

From 8 September to 8 October, the theme park is only open from Thursday to Sunday. During this period, arrivals are possible on Wednesday and Friday, with departure on Sunday. The last regular opening day is 26 October. In November and December, the park is only open at weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and during the Christmas holidays (until 4 January 2026).
