After a second contact, the broken coffee machine was picked up.

The park also has a sports centre where you can use the large fitness room or play squash. The recreation park also rents out bicycles and go-karts. If you want to take a refreshing dip in the summer, there is an outdoor swimming pool about 300 metres from the park.

During the summer holidays, Buitenplaats Gerner offers various activities for children under the age of 11. There are also several playgrounds and a bouncy castle. You can also hire/borrow board games, children's toys and DVDs from reception. You can also play Klootschieten, an old Dutch game for the whole family (for a fee). If you want to go for a nice walk with your children, you can hire a special walking route for children at reception.
