In the heart of the Pays de Salers, L'Echappée Verte campsite is ideally located in Pleaux, in the Cantal region. It's the perfect base from which to discover the region's rich natural and cultural heritage. Nearby, you can explore the Haute Vallée de la Dordogne, the impressive Tours de Merle and the medieval town of Salers. Pleaux is also surrounded by numerous footpaths and mountain bike trails. One of the campsite's great assets is its direct, free access to the adjoining municipal swimming pool. This pool is supervised in high season and has several pools, including a paddling pool.
The campsite offers a range of leisure facilities to enhance your stay. You can enjoy a game of table tennis, pétanque or table football. Sports enthusiasts will love the tennis court and City Park located right next to the campsite. For families, entertainment is organised for all ages, including festive evenings, farm visits and games. In high season, children's entertainment and games are frequent.
For your convenience, there is a launderette with washing machine and tumble dryer, sanitary facilities (some of which are accessible to people with reduced mobility), and a collection point for motorhomes. There is also a TV room and a library where you can relax. The campsite also offers a bike hire service (classic and electric mountain bikes), as well as free Wi-Fi access to keep you connected.
