Located on the edge of the Cerisy forest, 25 km from the D-Day landing beaches, Camping le Clos de Balleroy welcomes you for a relaxing holiday in the heart of nature. Come and take advantage of its heated outdoor swimming pool with its balneotherapy area.
With a boules pitch, volleyball court, badminton court, table tennis and children's play area, everything is provided to make your stay at the campsite an enjoyable one. The campsite offers 2 theme evenings a week.
For meals, you can shop at the campsite grocery shop and cook in your accommodation, or take advantage of the snack bar and bread and pastries shop.

All mobile homes are slightly different. We had O'hara nr 53. We loved this camping, because of the swimming pool and the small character of the site. Sylvie and David are very nice people. David speaks english fluently; with Sylvie you can practice your frensh... ;-)
A nice standard mobile home, like... all others that are offered in France. Two bedrooms, living/kitchen, toilet and shower-room. Pretty clean. Beds/matras were a bit hard. Outside a nice deck to have breakfast plus a 6x6 meter field of grass to park your car or to put an additional tent or to sit in the shade when days are hot.
The small camping is well maintained (no weed in the grass on the pavements), drainage for heavy rain seems perfect (no flooding of the camping site), electricity blocks available, the toilet-blocks for the camping-site are clean, jeux de boules field (obviously), jumping, tennis, play area for the small kids and a swimming pool with a cover. The snack-bar was not recommended by our neighbors. I didn't try.
Camping is 10 minute drive to a big SuperU, 15 minutes to Bayeux (cathedral, tapestry) and 20 minutes to the Ohara Beach (D-day).

Stayed for a week. Previously in Bayeux but moved out to the beautiful Normandy countryside. We rented one of the mobile homes - which was brand new it seemed. 6 berth, but for the 4 of us. Great deck with picnic table outside.
Pool was great for the little people.
Played lots of badminton over the... volleyball net.
Couple running the site were very nice and efficient.
Site has camping spots as well (with electricity hook-ups etc)
Balleroy is a lovely setting. Easy drive to Bayeux and the Normandy beaches from here. Would recommend this over staying in a hotel somewhere.

Camping agréable pour qui veut du calme en pleine campagne. Les sanitaires sont très propres et la piscine est sympathique pour le coup. Les propriétaires sont très secs malheureusement, on aurait aimé plus de chaleur de leur part mais c’est ainsi.

désireux de visiter entre autre les plages du débarquement tout en bénéficiant de bonnes Infrastructures de camping, nous avons été très satisfaits du camping. l accueil fut très sympa, de bons conseils, serviables, et il s agit d un camping aux dimensions familiales bien loin des usines à touristes... sans pour autant manquer de services ( pain, snack, wi fi, machines à laver ...)
les sanitaires sont toujours impeccables, neufs, tout comme la piscine et les jeux pour enfants. voilà une adresse que nous gardons, compte tenu du rapport qualité prix
petit bémol ( pour en donner un ), un WC ou 2 de plus serait la bienvenue

Super déçue de ce week-end ! Week end prévu pour un anniversaire organisé entre famille et amis. Location du barnum par les propriétaires je précise. Nous sommes arrivé en pleine journée de canicule à 19h, tout était fermé, frigo pas branché, un four dans le mobile home…Mr et Mme très... mal aimable, pas de bonjour, pas de sourire, pas du tout arrangeants… à 23h on s est fait agressé par le propriétaire qui semblait fortement alcoolisé 😡😡. Bref à fuiiiir !!!!!!!
