Camping le Moulin is a cosy and charming holiday destination, situated on the edge of the Boven-Sûre Nature Park in north-western Luxembourg. The long, narrow campsite lies directly beside the babbling River Sûre, creating a relaxing and nature-rich setting. Whether you’re travelling with the whole family, want to enjoy the countryside or explore the region, this small-scale campsite is the perfect base for a varied holiday.
Facilities at Camping le Moulin
The communal facilities at Camping le Moulin are well-maintained and designed to ensure a carefree stay. You’ll have access to a clean sanitary block, which is heated in the off-season, featuring comfortable showers, baby changing facilities and practical washing and drying facilities. In addition, Wi-Fi is available on site, there’s a boules court, and pets are also very welcome. Extra handy: there’s a bus stop for Luxembourg’s free public transport service about 400 metres from the campsite, making it very easy to explore the country.
Facilities for children at Camping le Moulin
For families with children, the campsite offers plenty of opportunities to play safely outdoors to their heart’s content. There is a lovely playground on site where the little ones can have a great time. Thanks to its location right by the River Sûre, nobody gets bored: on warm summer’s days, children can enjoy paddling, building little dams in the water and skipping stones. The campsite’s compact layout also creates a sense of familiarity.
Camping le Moulin swimming pool
Although Camping le Moulin does not have its own swimming pool, there’s no shortage of ways to cool off and have fun in the water. From the site, you can step straight into the River Sûre to swim or paddle. Would you rather head to a spacious waterside spot for sunbathing and water sports? A short distance away lies the beautiful Upper Sûre reservoir, where you and the whole family can make the most of a sunny day by the water.
Restaurant Camping le Moulin
You don’t need to leave the campsite for a tasty bite to eat or a drink, as you can pop straight over to the High Chapparal café-bar-bistro. Here, on the large and atmospheric terrace, you can enjoy a refreshing drink, an after-dinner drink or a tasty meal. The restaurant is a cosy meeting place on the campsite where you can relax with the family after an active day in the great outdoors.
Surroundings of Camping le Moulin
There is so much to discover in the area around Camping le Moulin. The surrounding Boven-Sûre Nature Park is perfect for wonderful walks and cycle rides through dense forests and past picturesque views. The reservoir is ideal for fishing, canoeing and swimming, whilst historic towns and impressive castles nearby make for a fun cultural outing with the children. Thanks to the free public transport, you can also travel effortlessly to towns such as Luxembourg City or Vianden.

The campsite is open from 7 May to 14 September 2025 In high season, reception is open from 8.30am to 12.30pm and from 1.30pm to 7.30pm. In low season, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Please register your vehicle when you arrive at the campsite.

Enjoy the resort’s aquatic centre, comprising four pools. A heated indoor pool that can be opened to the outside, featuring water play areas and a bubble bath for little ones. An outdoor pool, heated from 5 June to 5 September, with its own paddling pool. Three slides with a heated pool and a large slide open every afternoon. Please note that wristbands and swimming trunks must be worn. Children are the responsibility of their parents or guardians, as the water park is unsupervised.

Animations
Discover the wide range of activities for all ages from 4 July to 27 August. The kids’ club, open Monday to Friday, welcomes children aged 4 to 12 for craft sessions and a variety of games. For older children, the resort organises aqua aerobics sessions, sports tournaments and pétanque competitions. Enjoy evening shows and musical performances with the whole family.

If you like sports activities, the campsite has a multi-sports ground and other playgrounds for you to enjoy. For the little ones, there are playgrounds entirely dedicated to them. Please note that these areas are reserved for children and are under the responsibility of the parents.
