The best thing about this campsite is its direct access to the sea and its proximity to it. However, having stayed there 8–9 years ago, there have been no improvements since then: poorly maintained paths, a swimming pool where people swim without appropriate swimwear…Diving and jumping are allowed. However, the staff are friendly. There’s a small shop where you can find everything you need. In my opinion, this campsite isn’t a 4-star but rather a 3-star.

The waiter and chef were very, very, very lazy, even though there was no one there. The waitresses weren’t at all friendly. The pool wasn’t very clean. Allowing swim shirts, burkinis and underpants under shorts is quite disgusting. There’s no shower when you get out of the pool. The only thing that was really good was the location. Otherwise, even the shop assistant in the little shop was unfriendly and watched TV programmes whilst she was on the till. A shame. It would have been better with a more committed team.

All in all, it was brilliant, but the after-sales service was rubbish. We wanted to add two people to a 6-person pitch, but it was impossible. We rang at least 15 times to find a solution because we’d booked the pitch through Camping. We also sent an email, but the solution was to cancel our booking for three people, meaning we lost 80 per cent of what we’d paid. Fortunately, when we arrived, the reception staff were brilliant – they sorted the problem straight away, although it ended up costing us an extra €50. Disappointed with the campsite. Com – I wouldn’t recommend it. Le Palavas campsite was brilliant, as were the staff.
