Welcome to RCN Les Collines de Castellane - your adventure campsite in Haute-Provence. Nestled in the picturesque mountain landscape of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, close to the spectacular Gorges du Verdon, this terraced holiday park at an altitude of 1,000 metres offers a perfect combination of nature, comfort and outdoor activities. Ideal for families, active holidaymakers and nature lovers who want to experience the authentic south of France.

Facilities at RCN Les Collines de Castellane

The campsite has a heated swimming pool with a triple water slide and a separate children's pool. For sporting activities, there is a tennis court, a volleyball and basketball court, table tennis tables, a boules court and an outdoor fitness area. There is also a fitness trail and an adventure park with climbing elements. A small supermarket, a launderette and Wi-Fi access provide additional convenience.

Children can let off steam in the large playground with swings, slides and climbing frames. In high season (July to the end of August), the entertainment team offers a varied programme with games, craft activities and sports competitions. An adventure park with climbing elements provides additional thrills.

I liked the location, which was ideal for lovely walks in the surrounding area, the cleanliness of the campsite and the moblihome, and the facilities on offer.
I was disappointed, however, because I arrived on a Saturday and left on a Tuesday: there was little activity during that time, and we weren't able to sit out on the terrace for a drink at 9.30pm on a Monday to end our stay, even though it was the middle of August, which is a real shame.
I think that for the summer months, it would be nice to be able to enjoy the restaurant and bar until 11pm.
