Camping Eden ^{★★★★★}

The campsite is brilliant, but the customer service at campings.com leaves a lot to be desired. I was sold an air-conditioned mobile home, but in the end it just had a fan, and the website isn’t taking responsibility… So, a very good campsite, but a rubbish and misleading booking platform.

The campsite is clean; the evening entertainment is brilliant, and it’s nice during the day. The food in the restaurant is good, and the entertainment staff are really friendly. What I didn’t like: Being surrounded by walls. The swimming pool is far too small, too enclosed by walls, there aren’t nearly enough sun loungers for everyone, and in the afternoon, there isn’t a single square centimetre of space left in the water. You can really feel all the joints in the biggest slide, which hurts your back.

Close to the beaches and the town centre; the campsite is well situated. Lots of activities, but the entertainment team didn’t create enough of a buzz, particularly in the teens’ club; the aquagym was brilliant. On the other hand, the relaxation area was very good, but the pool was too small for serious swimmers and too crowded. Otherwise, the wooden chalets: the living area is poorly laid out as the table is fixed in place and the sofa bed takes up all the space in front of the exit door. Furthermore, the bathroom windows are quite visible from the outside. Satisfied overall.

The staff were great, and the entertainment was OK. The crockery was a bit flimsy – what a shame! There was no air conditioning, so we were sweltering!
