Camping Le Bois Fleuri ^{★★★★★}

The campsite restaurant is dreadful – the prices are far too high for the quality. You sometimes have to wait a long time for certain dishes; it’s a self-service restaurant, but the staff are friendly.

The only downside is the household waste collection point near the chalet… the smells.

We really enjoyed the comfort of the mobile home (F012), the shaded area, the facilities and the prompt response whenever we needed anything. Areas for improvement: information on arrival to help us find the mobile home (we drove round for ages before finally spotting it on foot); perhaps the frequency of the shuttle buses could be improved, although this is not within your remit.

The campsite and the activities on offer, plus the facilities (swimming pool, sports ground, etc.), were really good. The only downside was the ‘speed’ of the staff at the bar and snack bar, which was at times far too slow… As for the cleanliness of the chalet – and especially given the price paid for 15 days – I find it unacceptable: the floor hadn’t been mopped, the shower curtains were completely mouldy, there were loads of cobwebs and dust, and there was hair in the bath drain!! Finally, I find it extremely dangerous to have unprotected ceramic hobs; our two-year-old daughter accidentally turned on the hob several times and could have burnt herself; she could also have burnt herself whilst we were using the hob and it was cooling down. Finally, the washing machines hadn’t been cleaned and there was mould all around the seals. I find this unacceptable for a 5-star campsite.
