Les Chelles campsite is located in the heart of the Livradois Forez Natural Park at an altitude of 600 m, ideal for a quiet and friendly holiday, it also offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. On site, the whole family will enjoy the outdoor swimming pool and its paddling pool for children.
A playground for the little ones as well as a tennis court for the more sporty ones are at your disposal within the establishment. Fishing enthusiasts will also be delighted thanks to the pond provided for this purpose and with direct access.
Very practical, you will find a bar-restaurant open in season, a wifi connection, and all the services and conveniences necessary for your stay in the town centre of Olliergues, only 5km from the campsite.

We stayed here for a week whilst on a combined holiday and business trip in the area. It is an excellent site in a beautiful location. Rolf and Monique, the owners, could not be more welcoming and run the site well. We ate at the restaurant on most nights of our stay and the food was simply wonderful,... without exception.
There are excellent sights across the mountains and the whole site is very quiet with friendly guests and staff. There is public WiFi across the site, although this was sometimes unreliable and was slower than using 3G or 4G mobile telephone internet. My only reservation is the mountain roads leading to it, having been nearly run off the road on arriving. Be aware that they are narrow, steep, and windy. With that one caveat, it is highly recommended.

We were here touring with our motorhome, they have lovely pitches both in the shade of the trees or out in the sun. The toilet and shower blocks are clean and tidy and there is a handy laundry. Fresh bread is available each day and the bar/cafe serves a table hote each day.
The swimming pool is lovely... but could do with some furniture around it to sit on whilst watching the more energetic in the water.
The owners are Dutch but speak bothe French and English.

Si nous devions retourner dans un camping en France, ce serait celui-là. En effet, chaque année nous aimons changer d'endroit et donc de camping pour pouvoir visiter d'autres sites. Mais ici l'accueil fut tellement agréable et gentil, cool pour l'ensemble des services du camping, car familial.... Nous avions un superbe emplacement pour notre caravane jumelé à un autre emplacement pour notre fille sous tente avec ses trois enfants. Nous avions aussi opté pour la location d'un sanitaire privatif qui était très appréciable. Les soirées à thème sont bien organisées et faites pour les grands comme les petits. Nous avons aussi apprécié qu'une grande part est encore réservée au camping avec très peu de châlets.

Mobil home en très bon état. Ils sont assez espacés.Il y a de la place pour garer sa voiture
La vue est très agréable et les alentours très verdoyants
En mai, la piscine était fermée et je n'ai pas pu profiter de la restauration.
J'y retournerai volontiers

Une semaine au calme dans un environnement préservé. De jolies balades à faire au départ du camping. Mobil-home confortable et cosy. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Merci à Lucie et Mathieu pour leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité. On se sent comme à la maison. Arrivés tard le samedi, nous... avons dégusté les délicieuses pizzas de Mathieu. Très satisfaits par la qualité de notre séjour, nous reviendrons au printemps prochain pour de nouvelles aventures et nous choisirons le camping Les Chelles. Nous recommandons ce camping et lui attribuons 5 étoiles tant pour l'accueil, la location et sa situation géographique.
