Positive experience:
Lovely quiet campsite, set in greenery with a friendly atmosphere. Everyone had a great time in the little river meandering through the campsite. Restaurant has tasty and affordable things on the menu. Friendly service. We would love to come back again.

Camping Val d'Or is a charming and welcoming campsite in the north of the Grand Duchy. Camping Val d'Or fits in perfectly with the landscape of the Luxembourg Ardennes. The trees provide plenty of shade and various hedges offer sufficient privacy.

With a table tennis table, a petanque field, a football field and a volleyball court, there is plenty to do on the campsite itself. Children can have fun in one of the playgrounds or in the water playground. Adventure lovers can hire a canoe near the campsite and the entertainment team organise activities for young and old.

The sanitary building has been recently renovated and has hot water and washing facilities. In the canteen you can enjoy a cup of coffee and in high season a snack and a drink. Here your children can play in the sandbox, while you can keep a close eye on them from the canteen.

Very disappointed with the lack of flexibility and compassion. Due to the sudden loss of a close friend, I asked to postpone my stay to next year-not even a refund-but this was refused. No voucher or alternative was offered, and I lost the full amount. A more humane approach in exceptional situations would be expected.

The loose stone paths along the rental accommodation give quite a lot of noise pollution from cars
It would be better if the road was asphalted
