Wonderful holiday homes, spacious and in beautiful surroundings. The dogs could come along and as the set-up of the houses is really generous, we had absolutely no lack of space! Very friendly staff on site. This was our first time there at the Golden Lake Village, but definitely not the last. It really was a top holiday for us and we will definitely come back for more!

The high-quality furnishings of the holiday homes guarantee a pleasant stay at Golden Lakes Village. The villas are furnished with modern and stylish furniture and are made entirely of wood. As the holiday villas are also located on the banks of la Plate Taille, one of the lakes of Lac de l'Eau d'Heure, they are fully integrated into the greenery. From your terrace or balcony, you can look out over the lake and feel at one with nature. Enjoy a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere.
If you feel like doing something, there are plenty of options. For example, go for a swim at the beach 500 metres from the holiday park or play a game of volleyball, tennis or jeu de boules. The various lakes also offer an ideal environment for practising water sports. For example, you can go water and jet skiing, wakeboarding and windsailing. It is also possible to hire kayaks at the resort and discover nature from a boat.
Facilities for children at Golden Lakes Village
Children can not only master the water sports, but also laze around in the playground or on the beach. There is also a mini-golf course and in high season the entertainment team organises various activities in the park.
Restaurant at Golden Lakes Village
In high season it is possible to buy fresh bread rolls from the bakery in the morning. If you don't feel like cooking in the kitchen of your holiday villa, we recommend eating in one of the best restaurants in the area in the evening. For example, visit the Starchef in Cerfontaine (5 km) or L'Aiglon in Silenrieux (8 km). There are also many other small restaurants nearby where you can savour regional delicacies.
Surroundings Golden Lakes Village
The beautiful surroundings are ideal for long walks and hikes. You can also explore the shores of the lakes of Lac de l'Eau d'Heure by bike or on horseback! There are also many exciting outdoor activities in the Ardennes. A nice day trip takes you to Chimay (22 km), where you can taste the best Trappist beer. The Neptune Caves in Couvin and the Labuissière nature reserve are also well worth a visit.
