Facilities Landal Ameland
At Landal Ameland you are guaranteed a wonderful stay. The luxurious and spacious lodges are fully equipped and offer a stylish stay for your holiday on the coast. Get fresh rolls from the mini-market in the morning and have breakfast on your own veranda with lounge set. You can also buy other products at the park's supermarket. The park also has a launderette, where all the grains of sand will be rinsed out of your clothes.
Facilities for children Landal Ameland
Climbing and scrambling, building sandcastles and making new friends. The large sand playgrounds will keep the children entertained for hours. There is also an activity programme where the kids can have fun all day long.
Crafts, dancing, playing games and making new friends. There is plenty to do for the children so they won't be bored for a moment. Koos is currently very busy at other parks, so he is not present at this park. But we have a super fun and varied activity programme for a holiday full of adventure. Would you rather leave the cooking to the pastime this holiday? No problem at this park: for a tasty lunch or dinner, head to the cosy brasserie where you can enjoy a delicious à la carte meal. Or get a pizza or burger from the take away and eat it in your own cottage. At the bar, you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a refreshing drink.
Surroundings Landal Ameland
Landal Ameland is only 950 metres from the beach. So bring your bikini or walking shoes and enjoy the wonderful surroundings. Ameland is a paradise for nature lovers and is perfect for exploring by bike, which you can rent at the park. Go seal-spotting and explore and cycle along the Wadden Sea dyke, through the dunes, forest and cosy villages. Feel like going on the water? Take a round trip or 'wadhop' to Terschelling or Schiermonnikoog. In Hollum and in the other small villages, you will find nice shops and cosy terraces.
Landal Ameland is located next to the Boomhiemke holiday park. A footpath connects the parks. As a guest at Landal Ameland, you can use all the facilities at Boomhiemke Holiday Park (with the exception of the swimming pool).
This park used to be Roompot Ameland.
Good to know
Pets
Pets are permitted in most accommodation. If you wish to bring a pet, you will be charged a pet surcharge per pet per night, and a final clean is compulsory. If you are unable to add pets when making your booking, unfortunately there are no properties available that allow pets in the type of accommodation you have chosen. This holiday park only accepts dogs as pets in the accommodation. All other animals will be refused.
Business stays
Bookings may not be made for any purpose other than leisure. Any bookings made by businesses will result in access to the holiday park being refused on arrival.

Security deposit

If it transpires that the group of travellers are not related, an additional deposit will be charged. The additional group deposit is to be paid by the guest in accordance with the arrangements made.
Cancellation
Free cancellation within 7 days is only possible if the booking was made more than 64 days before the start of the trip.
Fireworks policy
In the Netherlands, private fireworks are banned and you are not permitted to set off any kind of fireworks. The park does not carry out checks, so we cannot guarantee a completely quiet and fireworks-free night. The region is home to the traditional ‘carbide shooting’ festival, a New Year’s Eve tradition that is also listed as intangible cultural heritage. It is also possible that fireworks may be set off in the immediate vicinity of the park.
