Landal Hunzepark is located in the beautiful Drenthe countryside in Gasselternijveen. You can hire a bike and explore the surrounding area or relax with a leisurely walk. After an active afternoon, the heated outdoor pool is the perfect place to relax.

Facilities at Landal Hunzepark

You'll never be bored during your stay at Landal Hunzepark. Rent a bike and discover the natural surroundings of the Drentse Aa, enjoy a dip in the swimming pool, play a game of jeu de boules or cast your line in the fishing pond. Fancy a picnic or a walk with the kids? The park has several playgrounds, catering facilities and a launderette. On hot summer days, you can also hire a canoe and cool off on the recreational lake.

Children's facilities at Landal Hunzepark

There are lots of great activities for children. Go swimming, play on the playgrounds or let off steam on the sports fields - boredom is guaranteed here.

Restaurant Landal Hunzepark

At Landal Hunzepark, you can enjoy delicious dishes in a cosy à la carte restaurant. If you fancy a quick snack, visit the snack bar and treat yourself to chips or an ice cream.

Surroundings Landal Hunzepark

Landal Hunzepark is located in the Drentse Land, near the Drentse Aa. This extensive nature reserve is perfect for walks or bike rides. Emmen Zoo is only 30 kilometres away and offers a full day of fun. De Juffer flour mill in Gasselternijveen is also worth a visit.

Outdoor swimming pool

The outdoor swimming pool is open from mid-May to mid-September, this can be changed due to weather conditions. When the swimming pool is closed (from mid-September to mid-May), the swimming pool of Vakantiepark Hunzedal (15 car-minutes) can be used.

Temporarily closed facilities

Facilities are closed every year from the last weekend of October until a week before Easter. Only the reception is open on Mondays and Fridays during this period.

Maximum 3 accommodations in 1 booking

A maximum of 3 accommodations can be booked in 1 booking. More accommodation in 1 booking is a possibility.

For preferences such as the location of your accommodation, please contact the provider.

Booking multiple accommodation

Reservations with multiple accommodations are not guaranteed until you receive an invoice from the park.

Student residence

From 2 to 4 September 2024, groups of students will stay at our park. They will hold meetings in the restaurant/café area. As a result, the restaurant will be closed to other guests from 17:00 on 2 and 3 September 2024. However, the snack bar will be open. Please note that the meetings may cause some noise.

Security deposit

A deposit will be charged for each accommodation. You can find the deposit on the invoice from Roompot.

Group deposits

If it appears that the travelling party does not form a family, it will be charged an additional deposit. The additional group deposit is paid by the guest in accordance with the agreements made.

Cancellation

Free cancellation within 3 days is only possible if the booking is made more than 45 days before arrival.

Information bathing lake

Due to the water quality of the bathing lake, there may be a temporary bathing warning. Please ask at reception about the current situation.

Fireworks policy

On New Year's Eve, you may set off fireworks throughout the park. We kindly ask you to clean up the fireworks waste afterwards.

I couldn't use anything in the leisure area, as there are no more leisure activities on offer in October.
The park is further away if you want to go for a stroll.
A plus point for the park is the car-free zone. Ideal for families with small children.
