A really lovely and cosy cottage, sleeps 7; the location within the park is brilliant, nicely situated by the harbour and within walking distance of Volendam’s quayside. The swimming pool is a bit small, but nice for a quick dip. The area where dogs are allowed in the water is also lovely, and you can swim at the little beach as well. With teenagers, it’s ideal for visiting various places: the cheese market, a day out in Amsterdam, Zaandam – though I wouldn’t recommend Marke; it’s not worth the money. Apart from that, you can enjoy good food at all the restaurants in Volendam.

Facilities at Landal Marinapark Volendam
Landal Marinapark Volendam offers numerous leisure activities for a varied holiday. Located right next to the marina, you can hire boats or take part in sailing trips on the IJsselmeer. If you prefer to stay on land, you can explore the surrounding area by bike, which you can hire directly from the park. There is also a supermarket for your daily supplies and cosy seating areas to enjoy the beautiful harbour ambience.

A special highlight is the heated indoor swimming pool, which provides swimming fun whatever the weather. Here you can relax and swim your laps or just let yourself drift. There is a shallow children's pool where children can splash around safely.
Facilities for children at Landal Marinapark Volendam
There are also some exciting leisure activities for younger guests. In addition to a children's playground, children can let off steam on the shallow banks of the IJsselmeer when the weather is nice. There are also various child-friendly activities in the area, such as a visit to the nearby Volendam Cheese Museum or a boat trip to the island of Marken, which is known for its charming wooden houses.
Restaurant Landal Marinapark Volendam
At Marinapark Volendam, you will find several restaurants. Enjoy lunch, an à la carte dinner, or unlimited tapas at Restaurant Pieterman. Paviljoen Smit-Bokkum is the place to be for a traditional Volendam meal. For an evening of sushi and a lively atmosphere, head to A-Fusion. When morning arrives, enjoy breakfast with fresh rolls picked up at the supermarket on the park.
Surroundings Landal Marinapark Volendam
Landal Marinapark Volendam is just a few minutes' walk from the centre of Volendam - one of the most famous fishing villages in the Netherlands. Here you can stroll along the Dijk (harbour promenade), enjoy fresh fish and browse through small souvenir shops. An absolute highlight is a traditional photo shoot in Dutch costume. Another popular excursion destination is the city of Amsterdam, which can be reached in just 30 minutes by car or bus. The picturesque village of Edam, known for its world-famous cheese market, is also close by.

Good to know
Group deposits
If it appears that the travelling party does not form a family, it will be charged an additional deposit. The additional group deposit is paid by the guest in accordance with the agreements made.
Youth
Reservations can only be made by persons over 21 years old.
Pets
Pets are allowed in most accommodation. If you wish to bring a pet, you pay a pet surcharge per pet per night and final cleaning is obligatory. If you cannot bring pets when making the reservation, unfortunately there are no accommodations available where pets are allowed in the type of your choice.
Note: Bungalow VO6
The 6-pers. bungalow VO6 is an upstairs flat and consists of so-called dike houses and water houses. The dike houses are accessible via the ground floor, but have a staircase in the house. One of the bathrooms is always on the upper floor. To enter the water houses, a substantial staircase has to be climbed. If you have preferences, please specify them.

Security deposit
A security deposit is charged for each property. You will find the amount of the security deposit on your Roompot invoice.
Cancellation
Free cancellation within 3 days is only possible if the booking is made more than 45 days before arrival.
Mandatory surcharges during the 2026 Volendam Fair
During the Volendam Fair, from Friday 4 to Monday 7 September 2026, the surcharges for final cleaning and bed linen are compulsory. These surcharges will therefore be charged. In addition, a deposit of €50 per person will be charged during this period. The security deposit will be shown on the park’s invoice.
Swimming pool
Due to new legislation and regulations, a maximum number of visitors will apply at the swimming pool from 1 January 2026. As a result, you may have to wait a short while before you can enter.
Fireworks policy
In the Netherlands, private fireworks are prohibited. This means that setting off any kind of fireworks is forbidden and is monitored by the park. This park is therefore particularly suitable during the festive season for guests with pets or young children who do not like fireworks. We are unable to monitor or influence compliance with the fireworks ban outside the holiday park.
