The location right by the water gives you the chance to go fishing or set off in your own boat (1 March – 1 November). The boat ramp makes it easy to get in and out of your boat. In fine weather, you can enjoy the sun on your own terrace or balcony, and in bad weather, the covered part of the terrace offers a cosy alternative. At the end of an eventful day, you can sink into your box-spring bed to start the next morning feeling refreshed.

There are also plenty of opportunities to get to know Frisian culture, for example by making your own traditional Dutch clogs. For culture lovers, there are several museums nearby, and a day trip to Zwolle is definitely not to be missed!
