Pont-Aven, near Concarneau, is an ideal destination for discovering the must-see sites in Finistère and Southern Brittany: Pont-Aven, the city of painters world-famous for the Ecole de Pont-Aven and the painters who made it famous (Gauguin, Emile Bernard, Paul Serusier), the city nestling on the banks of the river Aven, will win you over with the charm of its streets, the richness of its artistic life and its culinary heritage with the famous butter cakes and flat oysters from the river Bélon.

Pont-Aven continues this artistic tradition to this day, hosting a museum and around sixty galleries and artists' studios, much to the delight of art and history lovers.
There is a direct, private access to the port and the centre of Pont Aven (a communal road with stone steps, not recommended for people with walking difficulties). The main beaches are within a 13-15km radius, including the superb beach at Port Manec'h, 11km away (with a sailing club), and the Tahiti beach at Nevez (12km away).

The residence comprises a main building, "Le Manoir", with a reception area, heated indoor swimming pool with wheelchair access (lift seat), sauna, and air-conditioned 2- and 3-room studios for 2 to 3 people, as well as a hamlet of semi-detached houses for 6 people, built in a style inspired by Breton architecture.
The residence also offers a breakfast area (to be booked the day before).

You'll be staying right next to the Bois d'Amour and the port, the starting points for magnificent walks along the river Aven. For those moments of aquatic relaxation, the establishment has a heated indoor swimming pool, accessible throughout the season, guaranteeing you a relaxing swim whatever the Breton weather.

In terms of entertainment, the residence focuses on tranquillity and well-being, with a sauna and hammam area (extra charge) perfect for unwinding. Although the establishment does not offer a children's club or organised activities to preserve the peace and quiet of the site, families will appreciate the outdoor play area for the youngest guests. Sports enthusiasts can take advantage of the many hiking trails (GR34) in the immediate vicinity or go sailing or kayaking on the beaches of Port-Manech, around 10 km away.

The Résidence Domaine de Pont-Aven offers functional and well-equipped flats ranging from studios to 3 rooms, all with free Wi-Fi internet access. To make your stay easier, free private parking is available, a major asset in this tourist town. There is also a launderette on site, and bed linen and towels can be hired if required.
