A neat campsite and tidy accommodation. We stayed in the ‘Goudhaver’ chalets. They’re situated right in the middle of the lawn, with a lovely view of the lake; unfortunately, we didn’t notice this when booking, but there’s no air conditioning, and the chalets aren’t sheltered. Friendly staff, lovely countryside surrounding the park. There are good walking and cycling opportunities in the area. A 15-minute cycle takes you to Zwolle. Large lake. Dogs aren’t allowed in the summer, though. But if you have a quick search online, there are plenty of dog-friendly beaches in the area where you can let your dog have a good swim. Definitely worth a repeat visit.
