The idyllic Tusken de Marren holiday park is located in the heart of the Frisian Lake District in Akkrum and owes its name to its unique location: Tusken de Marren means "between the lakes" in Frisian. From your holiday home right on the water with its own jetty, you can go on fantastic boat trips - the Sneekermeer awaits you to the south and the Pikmeer to the north.

The park is a true paradise for nature and water sports fans. Almost all accommodation has a private jetty and there is also a marina in the park. If you don't have your own boat, you can easily hire a sloop, motorboat or sailing boat. Fishing is also possible in the park - the Frisian waters are ideal for a relaxing fishing trip.

Children are also well catered for: a playground, a volleyball court and an air trampoline provide fun and exercise. The holiday park is located in Friesland, a region in the far north of the Netherlands known for its many lakes and picturesque towns. Sneek, Harlingen and Bolsward invite you to stroll and discover. In the summer months, a visit to the Sneek Week, a fun festival with music and sailing competitions, is particularly worthwhile. The nearby village of Akkrum is just a few minutes' walk away and offers cosy restaurants, small shops and Frisian hospitality. The surrounding area is also ideal for water sports, long bike rides and nature walks.
