Residence Belvedere is located 500 m from the town centre of Vrsar, a tourist site in western Istria, 9 km south of Porec. Vrsar used to be the port where Istrian stone was exported. It is an unusual urban site which, in Roman times, became a small medieval town. The Lim Canal (nature park) is located 3 km to the north. Vrsar is also an archipelago of 18 uninhabited islands full of Mediterranean plants (boat tours possible).
