Discover Le Bugue, a village in the Dordogne on the banks of the Vézère in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The village is located in the Périgord Noir region, which boasts some of the region's greatest tourist attractions, including landscapes, castles, caves and prehistoric sites. The Vézère valley, also known as the Vallée de l'Homme, offers peace and quiet, an exceptional terroir and a well-preserved heritage.
The residence is made up of traditional semi-detached houses, each with its own terrace and private, open-plan garden. For the comfort and peace of mind of holidaymakers, the car parks are grouped together at the entrance to the residence, and traffic inside the hamlet is limited (unloading of luggage and shopping).

Directly on site, you will find a reception, a breakfast service (to be pre-booked the day before), free Wi-Fi access at reception during opening hours, with access limited to 30 minutes per day per person, a heated outdoor swimming pool (11m x 10m, 0.80m to 1.40m deep) and children's pool (5m diameter, 40cm deep) open from 04/04 to 26/09 depending on weather conditions, mini-golf (free loan of clubs), table tennis, children's playground, petanque area, bike hire. A large central square with an awning in the centre of the hamlet serves as a meeting point in season, with a weekly market. A 150km cycle path is currently under construction at Le Bugue!

Situated in the heart of the Périgord Noir, Résidence Goélia Le Hameau de la Vézère is strategically located just 900 metres from the centre of Le Bugue, a town full of character bordered by the river. This establishment is the ideal base for exploring the treasures of the Dordogne, including the famous village of Le Bournat, the Aquarium du Périgord Noir and the prehistoric caves of the Vézère Valley (a UNESCO World Heritage site). For your moments of relaxation, the residence has a large heated outdoor swimming pool and a children's pool, open depending on the weather (generally from April to September). Set back from the main road, the residence offers a peaceful environment, yet is within easy reach of shops and the traditional market of Le Bugue.

The establishment is designed for family leisure activities, with free-access facilities such as a petanque pitch, table tennis table and children's play area. It is important to note that, for the peace and quiet of residents, the establishment does not offer a children's club or organised on-site entertainment. However, active holidaymakers will find plenty to do in the immediate vicinity: canoe hire bases are less than a kilometre away for canoeing down the Vézère, and numerous hiking and mountain bike trails start directly from the village. For golf enthusiasts, the La Forge course is around 15 minutes' drive away.

In terms of services, the residence is made up of small semi-detached houses built in the Périgord style, offering modern, functional comfort. Each property has a fully-equipped kitchenette (ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave/grill, electric coffee maker) and a terrace with garden furniture. Facilities include free outdoor parking (one space per accommodation) and a launderette (at an additional cost). The reception offers optional services to make your stay easier, such as the hire of sheets, towels and baby kits, as well as Wi-Fi access in the accommodation (at an additional cost).
