Only 500 metres from the park is a swimming paradise which features a wave pool and various slides. Entry is free for all guests staying at Roompot.

The park is located near the seaside resort of De Koog with small shops, restaurants and a cinema. Texel is ideal for nature lovers. Forests, beaches and dunes provide a varied landscape which you can explore on bike or on foot. You can also visit an exhibition at the Maritime & Beachcombing Museum in Oudeschild. If adventure is in your blood, then go parachuting near Texel Airport. Don’t forget to visit the mudflats!

            Gerenoveerde appartementen zouden voorzien zijn van een inloopdouche. Dit is niet zo. Je moet nog steeds douchen in bad en dat is voor ouderen onprettig en onveilig

            Lopend goed te doen naar centrum, winkels en de zee.
            Vanuit het complex loop je zo het bos in.

            Appartementen erg gehorig. In september geen zwembad, terras op het complex. Bedden te smal en slecht.
            Douchegordijn te kort, zodat na het douchen de hele badkamer drijfnat is. Weinig privacy. Alle appartementen erg dicht op elkaar. Muurtjes te lag, zeker naar het appartement toe.

            Het was erg mooi weer, dus veel buiten.

            Zou voor 2 personen zijn (studio). Nou dat wordt heel moeilijk met koffers en kastruimte.
            De ingang geeft een zeer benauwde indruk. Donker en deuren met flinke klemmen er op, zodat je koffers moeilijk naar binnen krijgt.
            Erg veel honden, bospaden stinken naar uitwerpselen.
            Te klein keukenblok.
