You can rent a bike at the park and cycle to the beach, or explore the shops and restaurants in the centre of De Koog.

Only 500 metres from the park is a swimming paradise which features a wave pool and various slides. Entry is free for all guests staying at Roompot.

The park is located near the seaside resort of De Koog with small shops, restaurants and a cinema. Texel is ideal for nature lovers. Forests, beaches and dunes provide a varied landscape which you can explore on bike or on foot. You can also visit an exhibition at the Maritime & Beachcombing Museum in Oudeschild. If adventure is in your blood, then go parachuting near Texel Airport. Don’t forget to visit the mudflats!

        Die Lage ist sehr perfekt. Ruhig aber ortsnah. Die Appartements sind sehr sauber und nett eingerichtet. Auch mit Kindern zu empfehlen. Die Nutzung der Roompot Einrichtungen ist ne tolle Sache.

        Het is een fijn startpunt voor een fietstocht of wandeling.Ook een boodschapje is snel gehaald.

        Voor ons was het douchen in een bad wel een minpuntje. Maar wij zijn dan ook wat ouder.

        Weinig kastruimte.
        Hele hoge kastjes waar geen mens zonder ladder bij kan.
        Er was geen ladder of trap.
        Een grote witte losstaande koelkast midden in de kamer staat niet gezellig.
