The Stausee Oberwald holiday park has a large swimming pond with a water slide where the whole family can have fun in the water. The park also offers every opportunity for a game of minigolf or volleyball and there is a summer toboggan run. There is also a small supermarket in the park.

Positive experience:
Staff are very nice. I barely speak a word of German, a lot of hand and foot work and they found that very entertaining.

Improvements:
Cottages very dirty. We were not given a parking space on the park even though it was thick 30 likes, up hill! There was space enough, they kept this free for any German weekend guests. This while we were there for a fortnight. The cottages cannot be aired, Windows on one side of the cottage. Very many pests due to regular guests throwing their rubbish in the bushes. In the evening with that heat therefore unbearable. 2 stoves, large pans so actually one. No sink space, so washing up, cleaning laundry and preparing food at the table. Beds much too hard, sofa very uncomfortable. Motorway very noisy! Waste in one place on the other side of park, very far walk. No wifi, no animation, far too busy because the whole region swims there

Positive experience:
Family-friendly, clean, great facilities for children, quiet location, very nice staff, whether reception, snack bar, beach bar, summer toboggan run, mini golf course; the food at the snack bar was
varied, plentiful and tasted very good
The whole complex was well looked after, you felt very comfortable and in good hands
