What is unique about Nieuwekerk aan den IJssel is the combination of nature and city. The holiday park is surrounded by the recreational area Hitland with its peat bogs and brick kilns. While cities such as Rotterdam, Capelle aan den IJssel and Gouda are not far away. Ideal if you are a worldly person and like variety during your holiday.

Facilities TopParken Parc de IJsselhoeve

There is plenty to do during your holiday here. In case you don't feel like going out, there are enough possibilities on the holiday park to entertain yourself. There are various sports fields and playing fields where both you and the children can have a great time. There is also a heated outdoor swimming pool (with toddler pool).

Attention horse lovers!

The immediate vicinity of the park offers perfect opportunities for horse riding. Parc de IJsselhoeve has a horse stable and riding school. So you can bring your own horse. Discuss this with the holiday park in advance, so you can be sure that a stable is available.

Restaurant TopParken Parc de IJsselhoeve

Right next to the holiday park you will find Brasserie View @ the Park. The nice thing is that there is something for everyone, so if you have no idea what you want to eat, there is bound to be something on the menu that you like. During sunny days, you can enjoy a drink on the terrace. There is also monthly live music to watch. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Surroundings TopParken Parc de IJsselhoeve

The surroundings of the holiday park are characterised by the forest landscape, the meadows where you can spot many bird species and unique moors. Right next to the holiday park is recreation area Hitland, known for its stone ovens. The park staff advises you to be sure to visit it. If you go by bike, you will also find the most beautiful spots. Above all, go exploring. If you like city trips, this is the place to be. Both Rotterdam and Gouda are nearby and are great places to visit.

Positive experience:
Nice park, quiet location. Bungalow was fine.

Areas of improvement:
semi-through road on the park. Anyone can basically enter the park this way.

Positive experience:
Very nice staff, very nice location, good for walking dogs or children, nice big children's playground in Topparken and a big adventure place outside in Hitfeld within walking distance. Beautifully maintained house, well equipped with beautifully landscaped garden. Good opportunities for cycling.

Points for improvement:
Currently a lot of construction activity on the site, many construction vehicles a lot of noise.

Positive experience:
A very nice family friendly park, the apartment blocks are clean and very nicely equipped with everything you need. Comfortable beds and nice furnishings. We wanted for nothing.

Points for improvement:
As a small tip: fly screens on the bedroom windows would be great, otherwise you will be attacked by mosquitoes.
