Even in autumn when the swimming pool was closed, our three boys were never bored.
The kitchen was somewhat sparsely equipped: no colander, no chopping board, no peeler, no soup plates...
The open shelves didn't really help with the cleanliness of the plates, pots, etc. We had to wash everything once. The non-included WiFi and the TV with only one German channel were unexpected, but ok for a short holiday of 7 days.
On the other hand, this little wooden hut had something very special and cosy about it and we were totally satisfied with the price/performance ratio.

Holiday park Witterzomer offers various facilities for a sporty and active holiday. The heated outdoor pool with slide and toddler pool is open from Ascension Day. Enjoy a game of petanque or use the sports fields where you can play football, basketball or volleyball. The holiday park also offers you the opportunity to hire bikes, go-karts and karts.

From Ascension Day onwards, children can have fun in the heated outdoor pool with a separate toddler pool. The park also has various playgrounds and a mini-golf course. During the school holidays, an entertainment team organises various activities for the children. The holiday park also has a child-friendly recreational lake with a play beach. Recently, children can also enjoy an adventure trail, a 3 kilometre long play and walking trail. New at Witterzomer Holiday Park is the unique indoor playground and bowling alley.

There are various options for lunch and dinner at Vakantiepark Witterzomer. Enjoy an evening in Restaurant de Brasserie or eat a delicious pizza in our indoor playground and bowling alley SKIK. At the snack bar and in the pavilion on the upper floor, you can order a quick snack to take away or eat in. The holiday park's catering facilities are only open in high season, as is the supermarket in the park.
Surroundings Holiday park Witterzomer
The beautiful, rugged nature of Drenthe offers you plenty of peace and relaxation. The Witterzomer holiday park is located in an old forest and field area that is ideal for cycling and walking tours. Take the children to the Sprookjeshof in Zuidlaren. Drenthe also has a lot to offer historically. For example, visit the dolmens in Borger and the Drents Museum in Assen. Groningen and Assen are also perfect for a day of shopping.
