I read many very positive comments, which I now don't quite understand why they were so positive. The campsite is certainly not bad, but also not as good as the reviews claim.

Just briefly the findings;
Most of the campsite seems to consist of permanent residents/long-term tenants with mobile homes. The campsite does lie in a wooded area, but the forest areas directly around it are all privately owned with houses on them. So in the evening and night, we heard a lot of living sounds from the surrounding area, such as a lot of dog barking and music in the distance until around 12-1am.
The playground near the restaurant doesn't amount to much and was a bit dusty and outdated, but the kids seemed to grind away.
We were there in the last week of August, and wanted to take advantage of the activities on offer. The kids club was an old cluttered mobile home and although the activities calendar indicated it was open, it was closed. We heard that the kids club is organised by volunteers who are long-term residents of the campsite.
On site were some farm animals and a summer bar. But all this does not represent much in all honesty. The (play) water on the site looked really dirty and bacteria-rich and I will not let my child/dog play in it. The owners of the campsite seemed nice and helpful and I think the things that needed cleaning like sanitary facilities were also in order.
In other words, a campsite with an excellent price/quality ratio, but at the same time certainly don't expect too much. A fine campsite with an overall rating of 6 as sufficient. In our opinion a suitable campsite as a stopover or a few days for exploring/visiting the area.
