Urban Gardens possesses many play and relaxation areas on the park. Enjoy a game of petanque, table tennis, or let the little ones romp around on the playground. If you feel like exploring the surrounding area, you can rent a bike at Urban Gardens, ask at reception for the best cycling routes of the area.

Sports and Recreation Park Blaarmeersen offers a variety of activities, which you can book in advance with them. But of course, access to the lake is free!

Catering - Urban Gardens

The location of the park in relation to the centre of Ghent. With a shuttle bus nearby that drops you right in the centre, it was absolutely great

Areas for improvement:
It has been raining a lot recently, the path to the lodge was not fully paved and there were no stepping stones at our lodge either, which meant you had to walk through the mud to the accommodation and thus stepped in with mud shoes. Here we also missed a good slightly larger mat to wipe your feet. Other than that, we didn't really walk around the park or have to use park facilities. It is winter and there is nothing else to do at Urban Garden, but we didn't need to as we came for Ghent.
