Buitengoed het Lageveld Holiday Park is idyllically nestled within the nature reserves of Twente, near the charming town of Wierden. This small recreation park consists of approximately 100 holiday homes, built in the characteristic Twente style and equipped with modern comforts. These cozy holiday cottages are perfect for relaxing stays year-round, whether in summer or winter.

Facilities at Buitengoed het Lageveld

Each home has a lovely garden and private terrace. Thanks to the serene location amid nature, you can watch the diverse birdlife and listen to the soothing sounds of nature right from your garden chair. There are no central facilities like a swimming pool, creating the calm and tranquility so typical of this area. However, if you’re in the mood for activities, the approximately 90-acre "Het Lageveld" recreational area lies right next to the park. Here you’ll find sandy beaches, large swimming ponds, a children’s pool, a surf area, as well as jogging and hiking trails through the surrounding woods.

We had a great time, nice cottage, good beds but everything not clean. Descriptions of internet, hob etc we missed

It is a beautiful park with a nice living room. Nice cottages. But it all a bit cramped. By that I mean both showers and toilet. We were missing quite a few things in form of pans. We had 1 large pan and a saucepan, a stir fry and frying pan. Other than that, fine.

The park is in a quiet area. The house looked good but could definitely use an upgrade. The sofas were a bit saggy, the bed is too low, the dining chairs outdated and the shower was quite small and quite old.
