Our family weekend at Easter at bungalow park Landsrade in Gulpen (South Limburg) was truly a great experience. With 7 adults and 2 children, we spent a few wonderful days here in a beautiful location in the middle of the Limburg countryside.
The surroundings are truly breathtaking: plenty of nature, surrounded by greenery, rolling hills and countless hiking and cycling routes. Ideal for those who want to get away from it all. The location is also perfect for excursions: you can be in the cosy village of Gulpen in no time for lunch or dinner, and Valkenburg is also nearby for a fun day out. For the children, it was extra enjoyable thanks to the petting zoo with ponies, which we could even see from the living room!
The accommodation itself was perfect for our group. The living/kitchen area was surprisingly spacious and great for spending time together. Everything was neat and clean on arrival, which immediately made us feel comfortable. The bedrooms were fine and the bathrooms spacious enough for a holiday home. The beds were comfortable, although the mattresses are a bit softer and possibly less suitable for taller people.
What made this experience really special was the hospitality of the owner. We felt very welcome: friendly, helpful and flexible. For example, when we forgot to bring an extension cord for our gourmet set and asked if there might be something to borrow, the owner personally brought an extension cord to our cottage. As an extra service, we were even allowed to check out later on Easter Monday, which was greatly appreciated.
All in all, we look back on a fantastic stay. As far as we are concerned, bungalow park Landsrade comes highly recommended for families or groups who want to enjoy peace, nature and hospitality!

You won't have to worry about dirty laundry, as there is a laundry room. Sports fans will also be happy when they see the tennis court and football pitch. For athletes who prefer to be indoors, there is a pool table and you can play a game on the table tennis tables. The subtropical swimming paradise Mosaqua is 3 kilometres from the park.

Bungalowpark Landsrade has also thought of the children. There is a playground with sandpit and various animals can be admired on the park. In addition, the forest is the best place to play and there is plenty of that around Bungalowpark Landsrade. For a fun day out with the kids, there is Kinderstad Heerlen with large play cushions on which you can clamber around. We also recommend visiting the Sprookjesbos (Fairytale Forest) in Valkenburg.

From your holiday home you can explore the Limburg hills. Take a short walk or set out on one of the longer marked walking routes. Walking and cycling routes are available at reception. The park is located in the cosy town of Gulpen. Here you will find a large shopping centre with nice shops and restaurants with heated terraces. The Gulpener Brewery determines the taste of Limburg beer. You can visit the brewery for an interesting guided tour and beer tasting. Also visit the nearby subtropical swimming paradise Mosaqua, GaiaPark Kerkrade Zoo or experience an adventurous outing at Snowworld Landgraaf. A short distance away is the historic town of Valkenburg. Visit the marl caves or enjoy the thermal baths at Thermae 2000.
