Flower Camping De La Forêt ^★★★

The staff were really very friendly and very attentive; the swimming pool could do with some improvement.

The friendly staff, the peaceful atmosphere of the campsite – the setting is truly magnificent and relaxing. One area for improvement might be to organise one or two activities during the week, such as a pétanque tournament or a dance evening, to help campers get to know one another.

The ‘comfort’ pitch wasn’t 80m² but really small, and we were very close to each other. The toilets were reasonably to fairly clean. The toilet paper regularly ran out. The swimming pool was lovely. It was just a real shame that you couldn’t walk to a nice little village. The lake was lovely. But apart from that, there’s simply nothing else there. They’re currently refurbishing the campsite. I found all the staff to be friendly. The food in the restaurant and the bread in the morning were good. Admittedly, it sometimes took a very long time to get your food or drink. But that was down to a lack of staff. They only spoke French in the restaurant, but ordering went smoothly every time.

It would have been nice if they’d mentioned that you needed an adapter to plug into the mains. This isn’t mentioned on the website. Fortunately, reception were able to lend us one after we insisted.
