Only 5 minutes from the beaches, La Dive campsite welcomes you to spend pleasant vacations under the Vendée sun. Located in the heart of nature and a few kilometers from the big seaside resorts, you will be able to satisfy all your desires. From the beginning of May to the end of September (depending on the weather), come and relax in the secure and heated water park, composed of several pools and slides.
You can also take advantage of the inflatable games and the animal park with free access while the animation team will keep the rest of the family busy with water activities and sports tournaments. For the little ones, a children's club will be open all summer long.
As for services, the campsite has a snack bar open every day in high season, with a takeaway service. A grocery store is also open in high season with a bread and pastries deposit service. Otherwise, you will find restaurants and other shops at only 500m from the campsite.

Important information
- Visitors: Visitors are required to register at reception on arrival. They must pay a fee. They are admitted between 10am and 10pm. Access to the swimming pool is forbidden for insurance and security reasons. - Traffic: Limited to 10 KM/H. The gates are closed between 11pm and 7am. - Noise pollution: All holidaymakers must respect the quiet of the night between 10pm and 8am.
Useful information
- Only one vehicle is allowed per pitch/accommodation. - Charcoal and electric barbecues are not allowed on our site. We do not have communal barbecues! We only offer gas barbecues for hire at the reception. - No installation (tent...) is allowed on a mobile home pitch. - It is forbidden to recharge the battery of an electric or hybrid vehicle by plugging into the electrical socket of an accommodation. - For safety and insurance reasons, the number of occupants may not exceed the capacity of each type of accommodation (including newborn babies). If this is not the case on arrival, the campsite reserves the right to refuse access to the accommodation.

Ill maintained and overcrowded

When checking any rates, please have a look at the year it was written: the site changed ownership in 2022 and decided to fill up every m2 with rentals.
Our first week was lovely, situated in a new glamping tent at the edge of the camping with a great view. Frantic work was going on to finish new lodgings... and terraces. We were a bit scared about how the masses would be accommodated…
Our second week: the camping simply can’t handle being fully booked. People had to wait in the heat to get their keys, the staff on site is friendly but apparently the boss payed a visit at the swimming pool and claimed that he was from Corsica and would “step on all of us”.
Many holidayers are complaining because of their lodging being dirty and ill-mantained, someone got injured when their floor broke.
The swimming people is too small for the amount of holidayers, the kids area is new and lovely, the slides arenice as well but the main pool is too small, photos have been taken with an advantageous lense. It had to be closed during one of the hottest day of the year - supposedly because kids destroyed something and it had to be completely refilled, coincidentally we saw some worries and cheating the day before when the water quality was checked.
The daily entertainment lasts until well past midnight, and unfortunately the sound carries all the way to the edge of the camping so we are ‘enjoying’ the music until 2 am. The entry gate is broken so cars drive on the camping at any moment at night.
I’m sure many of these issues could be fixed by next season and have to say that the staff is super friendly. The attitude of the owner is insulting.

A very busy place, Ideal for families perhaps but this is a loud, busy place with lots of children (and I mean lots!) it’s very noisy! Try to avoid getting a pitch that’s near the football area as there are people socialising on it late into the night! (We had screaming and shouting till 2am...)... Food in the restaurant is good and it has lots going on to keep little ones entertained just best avoided if you want a quiet site or if you’re just passing through.

We are here now and due to leave Sunday. We have had a brilliant time. The pool is fantastic for kids. Clean site and friendly staff who speak good English. One downside for us is we have been attacked by mosquitos in the evenings and ended up with lumps and bumps everywhere. Not the campsites fault... but something to be aware of.

Good sized pitches, need shade to grow quickly!Lots of big cracks in ground due to dry.Otherwise good campsite.Mostly French families, very little English spoken except at reception, which is reasonable in France!

we arrive with our motorhome having pre booked a touring pitch. The receptionist tried to overcharge us 38 euros, when we pointed this out she adjusted the price without any apology. We asked if there were any cycle path maps available, she pointed out of the window! I subsequently found a map in reception!... . Our pitch was of a very good size, however our visit was not the best due to a few niggling points. Despite being high season the third toilet block shown on the map was always closed. Subsequently the main block was always crowded with queues. There were only two showers for men. This was not helped by the fact that this block was closed for cleaning three times daily. Consequently we used our own shower in the motorhome. The area around the pool the surface was such that it was almost impossible to walk on in bare feet, and there was hardly any shade. The pool itself was nice, and the pizzas in the restaurant were good.
