Clergoux is located 18 km east of Tulle (14 km as the crow flies), 33 km north of Argentat (23), 18 km south-west of Egletons (16), on a medium-altitude plateau between 500 and 600 m. Numerous lakes and ponds dot the surrounding area (étang de Prévôt, barrage de la Valette, étang Ferrier, étang de Taysse, étang du Bos Redon). The Ruisseau de l'Homme Mort, the mother branch of the Saint-Bonnette, rises in the municipality. Heated swimming pool on site
