Situated in the Puy de Dôme department in the Auvergne and in the centre of the Livradois-Forez regional nature park, about 2.5 km from Ambert, a small tourist town. La Vallée Verte campsite welcomes you in a simple, green setting.
The campsite is situated on the western side of a small hill with a beautiful view over the Dore valley. From this peaceful place you can enjoy a panorama of the Forez and Livradois mountains.
The town of Ambert offers a beautiful lake with supervised swimming (in summer). The lake is located in a park where you can go for a walk or relax. There is a small restaurant next to the lake and they have attractions for children. The access to the park is free.
Surrounded by forests, the campsite has plenty of privacy and an unobstructed view of the surrounding area and nature. This exceptional location gives you the opportunity to admire the magnificent sunsets over the Livradois mountains to the west, and to the north, a magnificent panorama over the Forez mountains.
