Camping Palmyre Loisirs, a 4-star campsite, is ideally located in Charente-Maritime, in Les Mathes La Palmyre. The campsite welcomes holidaymakers in the heart of a vast pine forest, offering a natural and relaxing setting between the forest and the Atlantic coast. The campsite is just 2.5 km from the superb sandy beaches of the Côte de Beauté, with direct access to cycle paths for exploring the Coubre national forest and the Coubre lighthouse. In the immediate vicinity, holidaymakers can discover must-see sites such as the prestigious La Palmyre Zoo and the magnificent Bonne Anse Bay. A major asset of the campsite is its superb heated pool complex of over 700 m², which includes outdoor and indoor pools, a tropical river, multi-lane waterslides and a fun paddling pool for the enjoyment of young and old alike.
In terms of entertainment, the campsite offers a host of sports and leisure facilities. Holidaymakers have access to multi-sports pitches, a climbing wall, a skatepark, mini-golf (for a fee), boules courts, table tennis tables and a children's play area. In high season (July and August), the entertainment team organises sports activities (tournaments, aquagym, yoga, fitness) and evening entertainment (shows, concerts, dances) for all the family. One of the campsite's strong points, particularly popular with families, is its Circus School (open in summer for 4-14 year-olds), where children can learn trapeze and juggling under professional supervision. For younger children, Kids and Teens Clubs are also set up during the school holidays to guarantee days full of fun activities adapted to every age.
Camping Palmyre Loisirs offers its customers a full range of practical services to make their stay as easy as possible. Holidaymakers can eat in the on-site bar, restaurant and snack bar. There is also a mini-market with bread and newspapers. Among other services, the campsite offers a launderette (for a fee), barbecue hire and baby kit hire (bed, high chair, bath). Wi-Fi is available throughout the campsite (extra charge). The campsite is accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM), with adapted sanitary facilities and a mobile home. The complex includes an indoor swimming pool that is accessible from the moment the campsite opens (usually in April), allowing you to swim from the very first weeks of the season. The entire complex, including the outdoor pools, tropical river and multi-lane slides, becomes fully operational and heated from May onwards. Younger children can enjoy a paddling pool adapted to their games. This vast space is a real highlight of the establishment, offering relaxation and entertainment with play areas for all generations. The Beaches and Coastline of the Côte de Beauté Ideally situated between the pine forest and the coastline, the campsite benefits from the proximity of magnificent beaches. Holidaymakers have easy access to the fine sandy beaches of the Côte de Beauté, just 2.5 km away. The destination is famous for its contrasts: La Baie de Bonne Anse: Ideal for water sports and walks, it offers a breathtaking view of the Phare de la Coubre lighthouse. The Beaches of the Côte Sauvage: For those who prefer the ocean and the waves, these are perfect for surfing and long walks. La Palmyre Beach: Family-friendly and supervised in season, it is easily accessible from the campsite via the cycle paths.
